Bauhaus
The mandate was to create a game based on a typographic movement, which I got Bauhaus. The main constraint was that it had to be made almost entirely out of paper.

The Approach
The Bauhaus is known for being geometric, functional and straight to the point. Therefore I wanted the game to be based on geometrical shapes. I came up with the concept to create a game for children to learn the anatomy of letters while having fun. They would have to build each letter as well as make phrases. Every piece is magnetic, therefore they would be able to display it all in the back of the packaging which has a magnetic board.

The solution
Because the target audience is children I wanted the design to be bright and colourful. The typeface I used for the pieces is “Joschmi” which is an adobe font inspired from the Bauhaus movement. The end result is a fun educational game for kids as well as a nice display piece.
